Who We Are
San Clemente Pier Conservancy is a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving historic San Clemente Pier for future generations.
For almost a decade you’ve known us as PierPride –and seen first-hand what can be accomplished when a community puts its heart into it. Now, moving forward, PierPride has changed our name. The change is more than just a rebrand, it signals a bigger vision and an even stronger sense of purpose to achieve the goal of ensuring the Pier as a place of memories for generations to come.
PierPride captured community affection. Building on that affection, San Clemente Pier Conservancy will continue to actively communicate stewardship, concern for the environment and long-term care of a beloved cultural and historical landmark.
San Clemente Pier Conservancy hopes you share in our excitement and invites you to be part of our Pier’s future as it approaches its 100th birthday celebration in 2028.

Current Projects
Pier Entrance Project 2028
The Pier celebrates its 100th birthday in 2028 and San Clemente Pier Conservancy is focused on improving the Pier Entrance at Avenida Victoria. This transportation-anchored project is especially crucial as Trestles hosts the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Pier Railing Replacement
San Clemente Pier Conservancy has partnered with the City to identify a lower maintenance composite alternative to replace and refresh the worn wooden railings along the Pier. The new alternative has been successfully tested and will be installed Pier-wide after Labor Day this year.
